Music Creators South Africa (MCSA) Announces New Board Members and Celebrates Africa Month

Music Creators South Africa (MCSA) a leading music composers association in South Africa, is proud to announce the appointment of Mr Thando Nyameni, Ms Manaileng Maphike , Ms Tebogo Sedumedi , Mr Vus’umuzi Nhlapo, Mr Thulani Mbatha and Mr Rashid Lanie to its board of directors. The new board members bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the music industry, and their addition to the board will help to steer the organization towards continued success.
Tebogo AusTebza Sedumedi said - “ I am elated to be joining an organisation that cares about our rights as creators and eager to help other creators know their rights and the role they play as contributors to the economy of our country and the uplifting of our society as a whole.”
The new board members will join Ms Nomsa Mazwai (Chairperson) and Mr Tshepo Meshack Nzimande and will be instrumental in shaping the organization’s vision and initiatives in the coming year.

This formidable board will ensure that music creators are empowered directly and that the environment within which they operate will not continue to exploit them” says Ms Nomsa Mazwai
At the inaugural Annual General Meeting held on the 12th of April 2023 MCSA bid farewell to Ms Yvonne ChakaChaka Mhinga and Ms Nothando Migogo whose terms had come to an end. Their invaluable contributions to the organization during their time in office, and their service is applauded and greatly appreciated.
In addition to the announcement of new board members, and as part of Africa Month celebrations, Music Creators South Africa will host Provincial Music Business Masterclasses.
