I am an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, Founder and Managing Director of Maphike Attorneys Inc, Co-Founder/Chapter Chair of Women in Music South Africa, Board Member/Secretary General of Music Creators South Africa, Member of the Recording Academy Class of 2024, international panellist (speaker and moderator/facilitator) and an entrepreneur in the creative industries and retail. I have over 10 years extensive experience in the legal and entertainment industry. I have represented Heads of State, Politicians, World renowned Businessmen and women, multi-national companies, government, state owned entities, creative agencies and entertainers (musicians, actors, producers, managers, influencers and content creators).

 

I have participated in numerous workshops, television and radio programmes and panels geared towards educating the creative industry particularly on the protection of their intellectual property, music licensing and contractual matters applicable to the entertainment and creative industries as well as legal commentary on news television and radio channels.
